At SVJ Fitness and Wellness, we believe in redefining fitness as a holistic and empowering experience. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where individuals and groups can enhance their physical and mental well-being through movement, mindfulness, and community. Whether through yoga, strength training, or Double Dutch aerobics, we aim to inspire a lifestyle that fosters health, resilience, and joy.

I’m an Army veteran who transitioned into a career in Information Technology, a field that, while rewarding, came with high levels of stress. Seeking balance, I turned to yoga, which not only helped me manage stress but also ignited a passion for movement and wellness. This journey deepened when I saw firsthand how yoga could relieve my mother’s arthritis pain and how it benefited my daughter’s volleyball teams.
With a lifelong connection to sports and fitness, I pursued my 200-hour yoga teacher training certification to better understand the power of movement. Over the years, I’ve worked with athletes, assisted living communities, high-stress professionals, and fellow veterans, initially offering my services on a volunteer basis. In January 2024, I officially launched SVJ Fitness and Wellness, transforming my passion into a business dedicated to improving lives through fitness, mindfulness, and community engagement.
